Confidential personal counseling for individuals and couples
We offer in-person and virtual appointments for individual and couples counseling. We also provide crisis assessment and counseling. Counseling can help you cope more effectively with a variety of concerns, including adjustment to college, family and relationship concerns, academic and career questions, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Sometimes clinical issues are better addressed through a community referral. When appropriate, providers use clinical judgement and will explain the reasons for an external referral. We will continue to manage your care until you are connected with the appropriate community provider.

Group therapy
In group counseling, students have the opportunity to discuss topics and issues that concern them in a confidential, small group setting with the assistance of a professional counselor. Throughout the academic year, groups may be initiated either around a common general concern or a specific theme or issue impacting students.
Some advantages of group therapy include learning that you are not alone and having a chance to give and receive support from others who can relate. Students often learn how to build interpersonal relationship skills as well as find improvement in their mental health symptoms.
